Our history
When Dr. Christopher McIntyre, a nephrologist from the United Kingdom and currently practicing in London, Ontario, Canada, found that unconventional, non-clinical
parameters appeared to foreshadow deteriorating health in pediatric dialysis patients, he conceived of an approach to assess patients on a routine basis. This approach would evolve to not only enhance patient lives but also assess novel approaches to treatments and their clinical outcome. As interest in these approaches grew, Dr. McIntyre established a company in 2024 to enable these approaches to be utilized around the world.
Today, we are a pioneering data sciences company focused within the medical technology industry and, alongside our customers, we are inspired to impact the lives of millions of individuals fighting chronic disease each year. Our array of innovative solutions and services for chronic disease management help improve patient lives and enhance healthcare outcomes. As our portfolio grows, our culture reflects Dr. McIntyre’s philosophy and we are well-positioned to continue making healthcare better for generations to come.

PROvision is built on ingenuity

2009
Dr. Chris McIntyre, the company’s founder, invents the first health-related quality of life (HR-QOL) outcomes tool focused on routine capture of patient-reported outcomes in a clinical setting, the Derby Evaluation of Illness.

2015
Dr. McIntyre opens a medical practice in London, Ontario, Canada, and refines his HR-QOL capture and evaluation system. His medical practice and medical research uncovers new insights to enhance routine capture of HR-QOLs. This enhanced system is renamed the London Evaluation of Illness (LEVIL™).

2015-2023
LEVIL™ is used in various locations around the world to evaluate novel treatment, confirming the significance of routine HR-QOL capture, LEVIL's ease of use, and its acceptability by patients and clinicians alike.

2024
PROvision Data Services, Ltd, is established to enable broad availability of routinely captured patient-reported outcomes to affect individual care planning worldwide.
